About the event
Ready to learn macrame? Come learn a special technique for a macrame wall shelf that hangs flat against a wall. This hanging shelf design will have a lot of texture with a treated bark edge shelf board. You will learn how to assemble the cords on the 9" dowel, learn some macrame knots and then you will learn how to finish it up to allow the 12" board to sit nicely in your new design. The board is about 3/4" thick, 4.5" wide and 12" long.
This wall shelf design mimicks elements of a wall hanging, after creating a lovely pattern we will then leave a drapery of cord behind the shelf.
